Membership Committee Guidelines

Thank the members for serving on your committee and ask their help in soliciting new members for the Auxiliary.

Collect membership dues, keep a file of the names, current addresses, email addresses and membership status. Forward dues monies to the throughout the year. And forward information on members interested in serving on committees to all officers.

Dues received after the Auxiliary bookkeeper closes books for the fiscal year are applied to the following year.

Publicize membership dues amount and where to send, immediately after Annual Meeting and throughout the year. Put the information in the December and January issues of the Angus Journal through the Auxiliary president.

Encourage states to send list and dues through their Secretary or Treasurer and to notify you of deceased members.

The Auxiliary membership list may only be released to members of the Executive Committee.
